Elegant Makeup Look with Pop of Color

Image
Hello, Beauties! I am sorry for being MIA last month here on the blogger. It was a very busy month for me. However, I always kept up posting different looks on other social media, such as facebook and Instagram. So, if you are not already, make sure follow me and get different makeup ideas, beauty tips and more! I decided to share some of my favorite looks I've done before with you all. Some of them, like this one today, was taken with my Iphone camera. I think the quality is good enough to post it here.   The look that I want to share with you today is created using earth toned colors and a touch of green. It is perfect for special occasion or night out. Let's get started!   1. Prime the lids. As I always write, this step is very important to keep your makeup in place. 2. Draw an extended wing as a V shape in the outer corner of the upper lid using black eyeliner pencil. 3. Smudge the liner with the use of little black shadow if needed. Use a smudgi...

Neutral Spring Look with Pop of Color

Image
Hello my beautiful readers! In today's blog post I want to show you how to create one of my favorite looks - neutral makeup with pop of color. This look is perfect for spring. It is subtle, elegant and beautiful. This look can be worn on a daily basis. You can customize the look using different color as a pop color. It can be purple, green or any color that matches your outfit. I would suggest pairing this look with peachy or pink colored lipstick. But you can go with nude lip colors or just a lipgloss as well. Let's get started! 1. As usual, priming the eyelids are essential. Apply eye shadow base all over the lids, both upper and lower lids.  2. Apply beige/champagne color on your lid using eyeshadow brush. It can be either shimmery color or matte. I chose shimmery color, since it instantly brightens up the look. 3. Apply matte bronze color on your crease and using blending brush, blend it out well.  4. Take a pop color of your choice and apply it o...

Everyday Shimmery Spring Makeup Look

Image
As much as I love artistic and dramatic makeup looks, I'm not brave enough to go out in public with creative eye look or super black smokey eyes. I like subtle and elegant looks when it comes to daily makeup.  In my experience, I have seen ladies who would not consider colorful or shimmery colors wearable  for work, school and etc. I disagree. When applied moderately, colorful or shimmery shades can be worn in our daily lives, as well as neutral and matte colors. Today I want to show you one of my favorite looks, featuring shimmery shades with pop of a color. Let's get started! 1. As usual, start with priming your eyes.  2. Using eyeshadow brush apply shimmery beige/champagne color on the inner half of your upper lid.  3. Now, add pop of a rosy color, by applying it on the outer half of your upper lid. Blend lightly the edge where the colors meet. You can use the same eyeshadow brush as in step 1, but don't forget to pat it on a paper towel ...

Elegant Neutral Make Up Look Tutorial

Today I'd like to show you one of my favorite makeup looks that can be worn both everyday and on special occasions. Perhaps, this look could be a perfect bridal look as well! It's very elegant and looks great on any eye-color!  Let's begin! 1. Start by priming your eyelids. This step is crucial, since eye-primer not only helps to last eye makeup longer, but also it helps to enhance the color of the shadows and blend the shades smoothly with each other.  2. Using dark matte brown colored eye shadow draw a line along your crease with either angled eyeshadow brush or flat eyeliner brush. 3. Using a pencil brush, blend the line slightly. 4. Now, take an eyeshadow that is two or three shades lighter than dark brown in step 2, and apply it by blending in the outer part of your crease, above the line. Use blending brush or a crease brush.  5. Take light beige colored eyeshadow, and apply it below your brows and slightly bring down by blending it with t...
