Soft Purple and Pink Smokey Look

Image
Hello my beautiful readers! Today I'd like to show you how to recreate the following subtle and soft purple and pink smokey look. This is one of my favorite makeup looks, since it is colorful, yet so subtle. You can combine this look with soft pink lipstick or lip gloss. Let's get started!      1. Start by priming your lids. I never get tired of emphasizing how important this step is, especially when you want to create smokey effect. Priming helps blend the colors better, as well as increasing longevity of shadows. 2. Apply shimmery white shade in the inner corner of the eye, bringing towards 1/3 of both upper and lower lids. 3. Apply rosy pink on the remaining 2/3 of the lid. For both steps 2 and 3 you can use eyeshadow brushes. 4. Using small angled brush apply black eyeshadow on the outer 2/3 of lower lid and bring the color upwards along the crease, over the pink shade. 5. Apply purple shadow over the black trace and using blending brush ...

Plum Glitter Smokey Eyes

In my glitter collection there is such a beautiful plum-burgundy colored glitter, that I always wanted to put in use. So I did! Glitter glue helps glitter to apply easily without a mess and stay on all day long.  To make the color transformation of glitter and shadow smoother, I applied black eyeshadow on my crease, right above the glitter. I used pencil brush for it.  Highlight your browbone area an...

Smokey eyes... Beautiful and sophisticated application of different shades, transitioned smoothly one into another... I love creating smokey eyes. But you don't need too many colors to create pretty smokey eye look. One of my all-time favorites is dramatic smokey eye look using mainly one dark eyeshadow color. Here I am presenting you the make up look I created using black eyeshadow (plus, some gray-ish highlight color). I don't have a step to step pictorial for this look, because it is not difficult to recreate. All you need is to pack eyeshadow  on your upper and lower lid and BLEND! Blend, blend and blend more until you reach soft, gradient blended shade on your lid. Apply highlight on your browbone area and slightly blend in with the dark color. Apply the eyeliner and mascara, and you're done!  I named this look "Stormy Night Sky", since it is dark, yet mysterious and chic. I did a cat-eye look and then added a twist, by adding winged eyeliner in the inn...
