Elegant Neutral Make Up Look Tutorial

Today I'd like to show you one of my favorite makeup looks that can be worn both everyday and on special occasions. Perhaps, this look could be a perfect bridal look as well! It's very elegant and looks great on any eye-color!

Let's begin!

1. Start by priming your eyelids. This step is crucial, since eye-primer not only helps to last eye makeup longer, but also it helps to enhance the color of the shadows and blend the shades smoothly with each other.
2. Using dark matte brown colored eye shadow draw a line along your crease with either angled eyeshadow brush or flat eyeliner brush.
3. Using a pencil brush, blend the line slightly.
4. Now, take an eyeshadow that is two or three shades lighter than dark brown in step 2, and apply it by blending in the outer part of your crease, above the line. Use blending brush or a crease brush.
5. Take light beige colored eyeshadow, and apply it below your brows and slightly bring down by blending it with the light brown color. You can use the same blending brush or a crease brush, but make sure you wipe it on paper towel back and forth to remove excess dark shadow before application of the lighter shade.
6. Using eyeshadow brush apply champagne shade on your lid, below the drawn crease line.
7. Using pencil brush, apply matte dark brown on the outer 1/3 of a lower lid, blend slightly.
8. Apply a highlight color on the inner corner of the eyes and browbone area. Also, apply white eyeliner on waterline. This will help to brighten up the eye makeup look.
9. Using liquid eye liner draw a cat eye. Depending on your preference, you can draw liner slightly winged or not, thick or thin. It is up to you.
10. Apply your favorite mascara on top and bottom lashes. Apply false eyelashes, if you wish.
That's it! Look is finished! Neutral colored palettes are available in many makeup brands, having one of those, you can easily recreate this look. You can wear this look with both dark or light colored lips.
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Stay tuned for more to come!
